It all started 18 years ago when our oldest daughter Carla desperately wanted a pony. We decided that instead of paying for grazing we would purchase some ground and make a lifestyle change for the whole family.

We built the house, fenced off some paddocks, developed the garden and started collecting the animals; of which we now have a variety ranging from rabbits to donkeys, alpacas and of course our minature horses.

"Chancarla" is derived from our daughters names Chantelle and Carla and this is also the stud prexif for our minature horse stud.
